Machines - Blister machine

Blister machines are used to heat seal preformed plastic blisters with a backing such as paperboard. Other backing such as foil and plastic are also used in the industry. The most common machines are considered semi-automatic where the machine will pick the blister shell off a magazine, place the blister shells on a rotary carousel, then an operator manually places the product inside the plastic blister shells, the machine then picks the paperboard from a magazine and places onto blister shell and final station is the heat sealing between blister shell and paperboard before final product exit. Less common blister machines are the straight inline models frequently used in automatic applications where a robot or automatic feeding system can pick and place the products into the blister shells.
